Forillon National Park
Established in 1974, this 244 sq km (95 sq mi) park is Quebec's first national park. The area was set aside to protect a number of plant, sea bird and marine animal species. Located at the eastern tip of the Gaspe Peninsula, the park's topography varies wildly and features a mountainous interior as well as beaches, rivers and forests.
