Church of Saint-François-Xavier
The oldest church of the islands, the Church of Saint-François-Xavier was built in 1875 and is recognised most for its two distinctive, square towers. Damaged by lightning in 1936, the church was quickly rebuilt with only a few changes made to its original architecture.
