The town of Murdochville was established and grew to support the nearby copper mine and visitors to this interpretation centre will learn about the history and operations of the mine and how it related to the growth of the town. Guests can dress up like a miner and explore the underground gallery, see the interactive exhibit room and visit the gift shop. The centre is open daily from the beginning of June to the end of September and reservations are required for groups.
