Underground Mining Visits
Visitors descend to a depth of 316 m (950 ft) in the Bell Mine to learn about the working life of a miner. Groups of 15 to 20 can be accommodated and all necessary clothes and equipment are provided. This tour is not for those who have fears of enclosed spaces.

Open Sky Mine Visits
This mine tour allows visitors to see the workings of an open-casy mine. Highlights of the tour include the opportunity to view the giant trucks and shovels used to remove from the ground. Reservations are recommended and tours must have a minimum of 10 participants. All tours depart from the Thetford Mines Mineralogical Museum.
